2. The Storyline.
The film will be based on a true event that took
place 10 years ago, where three girls Amanda
Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight went
missing and were found after 10 years. They
were kidnapped by three brothers: The main guy
involved was called Airel Castro (52) along with
his brothers Pedro Castro (54) and Onil Castro
(50).

3. Production Company
We chose fox as our
production company as
they have produced
other films that were
based on true events.
The genres of our film
are psychological
thriller, drama, thriller
and biography.
The budget for our film
is $15million-$18million

4. Director
The director we have chosen for our film is Danny
Boyle. We chose him as he has worked on other
true event based films such as Slumdog Millionaire
and 127 hours. He specialises in genres of
biography, drama, and thrillers.

5. Actors
Saoirse Ronan: Played in
previous genres of drama and
thriller. ‘The Lonely Bones’. She
will play Amelia (Amanda
Berry).
Lily Collins: Played in
previous genres of drama and
biography. ‘the Blind side’. She
will play Mandy (Michelle
Knight)
Samantha
Boscarino: Played in a
theatrical genre film. ‘The
Perfect Game’. She will
play Gemma (Gina
DeJesus).
James Franco: He can
easily adapt his role and
show the characteristics
of a character and bring
it alive. ‘127 Hours’. He
will play Andy (Ariel
Castro).
We chose the three female actresses as
they are not A-list stars which is
important as its based on a true story.

7. Distribution 1 Process
Fox searchlight will be our distributer
as they have previously distributed ‘127
hours’ with the genre being drama,
thriller and based on a true event like
ours.

8. Exhibition Process
10 years will be watched and streamed to
mainstream cinemas such as Cineworld and
Odeon, and the main cinemas in America. This
is because everyone will have heard of the true
event as it was televised all round the world.

9. Distribution 2 Process
The film will be released on
DVD, blu-ray and will be readily
available on Netflix and Love-
film.
We will do our best to make
sure our film is not
streamed online illegally on
websites such as ‘Limewire’
and ‘Sockshare’

10. Exchange
Our film will be exchanged using YouTube and social
networking sites: you will be able share information on
Facebook/Twitter about the film. We will set an official
page for the film on Facebook and Twitter with a link to
the trailer, ‘10 Years official trailer’ including updates.
The link will be easy to send to your friends via
text/email.
