Thought Leadership: Abuse Domain Name Anti-Abuse Policy in 2009, PIR began actively reporting suspected phish to its registrars, helping them to alert their registrants about compromised phishing domains. The impact of this initiative was dramatic: .ORG’s “phishing uptimes immediately dropped by a third,” according to the Anti-phishing Working Group (APWG).
12. Thought Leadership: DNSSEC .We planning the final step to realizing full DNSSEC deployment in the .ORG registry: the launch of signed delegations. The 90-day notification was just sent out by our Technical Support Team to alert Registrars that we are committed to the schedule of launching signed delegations by the end of June 2010.
