Thought Leadership: Abuse According to the Anti-phishing Working Group (APWG).

Thought Leadership: Abuse Domain Name Anti-Abuse Policy in 2009, PIR began actively reporting suspected phish to its registrars, helping them to alert their registrants about compromised phishing domains. The impact of this initiative was dramatic: .ORG’s “phishing uptimes immediately dropped by a third,” according to the Anti-phishing Working Group (APWG).

Thought Leadership: DNSSEC .We planning the final step to realizing full DNSSEC deployment in the .ORG registry: the launch of signed delegations. The 90-day notification was just sent out by our Technical Support Team to alert Registrars that we are committed to the schedule of launching signed delegations by the end of June 2010.

A DNSSEC OT&E environment will be available no sooner than 10 April 2010 and at least 30 days in advance of the actual signed delegation launch date. The UNESCO Internet website is the main tool used to disseminate information about the Organization and its programme of activities. A respected source of information, the UNESCO website is ranked among the top five of UN family websites and receives on average 1.8 million unique visitors (7 million page views) per month. The Secretariat is located in its Paris headquarters and in 52 field offices around the world, and demands the high availability of the website, a mission critical working tool for the Secretariat and its communities. In this Talk Chakir Piro (UNESCO) and Olivier Dobberkau (dkd) will give a short overview of the history of the usage of TYPO3 at www.unesco.org and how we are migrating more content from an old cms to TYPO3. We will introduce the setup involved to deploy a multinational and multilingual website with TYPO3. Further on we will describe the requirements of such a project dealing with a large amount of stakeholders, communication channels and international events. Chakir Piro will describe the role the department he works in to filter and aggregate the needs of the different sectors, field and cluster offices of UNESCO. We will give practical insights on how organizations can adopt a fast track to deliver daily content to its website visitors.

Presented by Travis Wissink at CM Pros Fall 2007 Summit on Web Content Management, November 26, 2007. Drupal recently became a winner of CNet’s Webware 100 award in the publishing category. Drupal is a Free and Open Source Web Content Management software and a web application framework. It is highly used and has been included in the Google Summer of Code (SoC) project. The Google SoC reference’s Drupal as being the poster child for Web 2.0 community driven web site software. I will describe and demonstrate some of the major features of the software as well as some of the limitations. Some specific features we’ll look at are the Content Construction Kit, Views, Taxonomy, and some Content Management functions. Drupal adheres to some good content management practices. During the discussion we will look and modify some configuration areas for the more technical savvy as well as look at the content managers and content authors interfaces. Although, a computer isn’t required if you bring you laptop you will be able to log on to the site and manage content.

Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is the most popular style of large language model application to emerge from 2023. The most basic style of RAG works by vectorizing your data and injecting it into a vector database like Milvus for retrieval to augment the text output generated by an LLM. This is just the beginning. One of the ways that we can extend RAG, and extend AI, is through multilingual use cases. Typical RAG is done in English using embedding models that are trained in English. In this talk, we’ll explore how RAG could work in languages other than English.
