This document provides an overview of a makeup workshop. It begins with introductions and an agenda that covers skin, color, layers, looks, brands and a wrap up. Key topics discussed include determining skin type and undertone, the different layers of makeup application including primer, foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, eye primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lips. Finishes, colors, application techniques and reasons for using different products are explained. Hands-on exercises guide participants through practicing determining skin features and applying different makeup looks. Costs of common makeup brands and styles are also reviewed.

• It makes your face have depth, foundation CAN’T do that
• It enhances your natural bone structure
• It draws peoples’ eyes to the par ts of your face that matter, your eyes
and your lips

• It’s a great “I’m going to be lazy today” backup for not wearing makeup
• If the color is right for you, it’s a woman’s best friend

HOW do I apply eye liner?
This takes practice but you have to try!
Method 1: Close your eye, line as close to
your lash-line as possible, do it in strokes/layers
Method 2: Leave your eye open, line as close to
your lash-line as possible, do it in strokes/layers
1. Liquid or Gel: Angle Brush
2. Liquid or Gel: Flat-precision Brush
3a. Pencil: Use the actual pencil!
3b. Blending: Use a liner smudge sponge
93. why use eye liner?
Because...
• It automatically opens your eyes more and makes them seem bigger
• It polishes your eyes, makes them crisp
• Makes it easier for men notice your eyes, gives it POP!
Not everyone needs eye liner though...
• Some people have naturally thick lash lines
• Some people’s eyes are so huge they don’t want to
emphasize them. No worries, doing it right will prevent this!

This takes practice but you have to try!

Method 2: Eye open, apply close to your eye,
but move brush back and for th to spread the
mascara around
TIP: Change your mascara every 3-6 months.
It get’s too dry to use, and has built up lots
of bacteria!

• It’s another great eye opening method
• It creates a noticable line where your lash-line star ts
• People have hair on their lash line, if you can’t see it, enhance it!

• it moisturizes them
• our natural lip colors are sometimes not complimentary to our makeup
• sometimes you can look naked without something on your lips

• We line when we wear bright colored lipstick (prevents feathering)
• We line for a special occassion when we need lipstick to last longer
• We line to make our lipstick look more precise
