2. COSTUMES
The costumes that will be used in the main filming of our
opening thriller sequence will be the following:
 Hoodies – In order to show the audience that they are part
of a serious gang and do not want to be seen or
recognized by anybody, this is also very stereotypical for
gang members.
 Dark Clothing – This is because the filming will be taking
place at night time and by wearing dark items of clothing,
this will make the characters more difficult to see for the
audience which makes them suspicious to what will be
happening in the opening sequences.

3. LOCATIONS
The locations that our product will be filmed in and what time
of day are:
 Dark Tunnel – This is because a dark tunnel is very
stereotypically used in thriller movies and also is a very
popular location for gangs to hang about.
 Night time – This is because it is dark at night and it also
fits in very well with story line of the opening sequence
because thriller movies are generally filmed at night time.
 Urban area – We are using an Urban area for the filming of
our product because it is more local to us than a rural
location is for example, our location that will be used is in
Leek which for our group is extremely easy to access.

4. PROPS
The props that will be used in our thriller opening sequence are
the following:
 Weapon (brick) – This will be used because this fits in very
well with the idea of using a gang in our video, this weapon is
very easy to get and does not put us in any danger and will
not cost us to use.
 Phone – A phone will be used in our product because during
the opening sequence, the victim will be in danger and will
try to ring a friend in order to help him.
 BMX - Because the victim will enter the tunnel on a bike and
then get off, then to see the gang.
 Earphones – Earphones will be used in our product because
this will show to the audience that the victim will not be able
to hear the footsteps of the gang when they enter the tunnel.

5. CHARACTERS
We have carefully thought about who in our group would be
best to fit the roles of the gang and the victim and our
characters will be:
 Gang Members – These characters will be played by Tyler
and Macaulay because they both will play this role
extremely well and both have the ability and the
confidence to do so.
 Victim – The victim for our opening sequence of our
thriller movie will be played by Josh, this is because he is
up for doing this and has the acting skills to do a very
good job.

6. LIGHTING
The lighting that we will use in our opening sequence will be
the following:
 Darkness – This is because is is very stereotypical of a
thriller movie and will add more tension for the audience,
also this will ask questions from the audience because the
gang will not be that easy to see in the dark and will make
them wonder what is going on.
 Shadows – Shadows will be used because it helps build
the tension for the audience and fits in with the genre very
well.
 Dim lighting – This will be used in the tunnel and will fit in
extremely well with the plot of our product.
