wanted to create an entry
experience matching that of the
old grand palaces found in France.
Through the use of jumping water
features lining the entry drive and
semi-private sensory gardens, hotel
guests are treated with a variety of
gardens and event spaces for use
365 days a year.
I created a sound or music garden
where piano keys and dancing
waters to music entertain guests
and has the ability to play seasonal
music with a choreographed water

podium decks were designed, first
being a viewing deck with no guest
access and the second being the
pool deck.
The pool deck consisted of a rain
drop theme that tied the indoors to
outdoors. A lounge bar, shisha
station and outdoor shower
provided additional amenities for
the hotel guests.
Unique cocoon seating nodes
provides hotel guests with a semi-
private room on the pool deck for
those more intimate times.

hotel/short term apartment tower
located in Business Bay, Dubai.
The tower caters primarily to the
business traveler with all the
amenities one would expect.
Two pools were created separating
bachelors and families. The
bachelor pool integrates a wet
deck for sunning, Jacuzzi for 10 and
rental cabanas.
The family pool consists of a kiddie
pool, small splash pad, outdoor
covered play equipment and
rental cabanas.
Both pools being served from snack
bar and close proximity to the
indoor spa and workout rooms.

role in my duties. Within the first
two weeks of employment, design
issues with the exterior irrigation
system were discovered and re-
