From Mr Lamshed’s Class
Welcome back! I hope everyone had a good break and is ready for a busy term 1. I would like
to welcome Angus to our class this year, Iʼm sure he will be a great addition to our team.
Please read the following information to ensure that your child is ready for the year ahead.
Class Website
We have a new class website up and running for 2010. We had great success with last years
site, but have decided to start fresh for the new school year. It is important that you familiarise
yourself with the site. Itʼs a great place to get reminders, check what homework the boys are
supposed to be doing, catch up on notes that have gone home and keep up with whatʼs
happening in our classroom. The web address for the new site is:

Food and Drink
With more hot weather predicted for the term, I would like everyone to keep a drink bottle
(water only) on their desks. ʻGrazingʼ throughout the day is also ok, but no lollies or other junk
food is to be taken into the classroom.
Special Events
Clippers for Cancer, Choir, New Zealand planning committees and fundraising will all be
starting this term. More information about these will be sent home soon.
2010 is already looking to be a busy year for our class. I am looking forward to working with
the boys once again. Please donʼt hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or would
like to talk about your sonʼs learning.
