Why Business Acumen?
Business Acumen Program is appropriately used to upgrade junior management to middle
management or to give middle management a holistic view of an organization, understand market
dynamics and appreciate interdependency of various departments.
Business Acumen is meant for junior and middle management, to appreciate cross- functional
decision making in a dynamic and challenging environment at the same time aligning themselves to
corporate objectives and individual & departmental goals in a collaborative environment. This cross
functional understanding is put to practice in a computer-based business simulation where
participants assume the role of senior management of a "virtual" company, set organizational goals,
take decisions to achieve goals set and handle the market dynamics and challenges with a teambased approach.
