PDHPE supports the development of students as whole people by focusing on their mental, physical, social, and spiritual health and fitness. It aims to foster positive relationships, prevent illness, and promote participation in work, recreation, and lifelong healthy and active lifestyles. Specifically, PDHPE helps students develop fundamental movement skills, positive interpersonal relationships, and an understanding of themselves and others through fun activities that promote fitness, social skills, and healthy choices.
