13. “Give Them Wings & Let Them Fly”
"Powerfully written with simple honesty, profoundly healing with its
compassionate message of hope, it breaks through the boundaries of
those who have lost a child and embraces all those who have experienced
the deep pain associated with losing a loved one with tenderness and
understanding. For those whose souls ache from the pain of loss, 'Give
Them Wings...' is a must read, a respectful, spiritual 'road‐side assistance'
in the journey back to Him".
‐ Ann Jillian
“Kymberli Brady's comforting words and
thoughts of profound loss and love will be a
blessing to anyone who's lost a child.“
‐ LeeZa Gibbons
"The thoughts and bits of wisdom found
in "Give Them Wings and Let Them Fly"
weave a blanket of love and assurance
that can bring comfort to all of us who
have been touched by the loss of a child.
Thank you Kymberli.“ ‐ Marie Osmond
“Kymberli Brady seeks to provide hope for
those who have suffered the special pain and
grief associated with the ultimate loss of a child. If you have lost a child, or know
someone who has, then 'Give Them Wings and Let Them Fly' is a highly
recommended source of solace and strength for grieving parents, friends, and
family.“ ‐The Midwest Book Review
14. “911: The Day America Cried”
A Collection of Poems, Letters, and Stories on an American Tragedy
Contains more than 70 heartwarming stories, poems and letters born of the
September 11, 2001 tragedy—poignant , moving memories and tributes that
commemorate a solemn moment in our nation's history.
Along with contributing four stories to the project, I was given special clearance
via police escort onto Ground Zero following the collapse of the Twin Towers in
an effort to shoot the photos that were used on the cover of the book.
“911: The Day America Cried' immortalizes the raw emotions and heartfelt
feelings of Americans all across our great nation in the aftermath of the tragedy
and pays tribute to the indomitable American spirit."
‐ Tina L. Miller, Editor in Chief
All royalties derived from the sale of “911, The Day America Cried” are donated to
the Todd Beamer Foundation.
"…You will be especially touched by the short stories written by the children.
Their unique perspective on the events of September 11 reminds us that today's
children are tomorrow's heroes, capable of positively impacting our world for
the good of others."
‐ Doug MacMillan, Executive Director of The Todd M. Beamer Foundation.
15. “The Sleepy Little Star”
Created marketing campaigns and special celebrity event
engagements for “The Sleepy Little Star,” including expansion into
a line of co-branded merchandise
"The illustrator and composition jumped out from the start. It is
very strong and bright which is so alluring to young readers...
Loved the idea of an allegorical story of a little star who doesn't
want to go to sleep ‐ a very common occurrence with little ones. The young star
is captivating. Nice job in outlining the many important reasons why sleep is an
important need for everyone. And the surprise of when you don't get that
required shut‐eye! ‐ well that is even more entertaining. Nice job.“
‐Writer's Digest Books
"The Sleepy Little Star is a good‐natured children's book about a young star who doesn't
want to go to sleep at bedtime. So Papa Moon takes the Sleepy Little Star on a journey all
over the world, showing children everywhere who count on stars to guide their darkest
hours. Gently and thoughtfully written by Kymberli Brady
and enhanced with the artwork of Eddie Moreno,
The Sleepy Little Star picture book is perfect for
Reading aloud at bedtime."
‐The Midwest Book Review
"Thank you so much for
the wonderful book The
Sleepy Little Star. Being
the mother of one but step
grandmother to three, this
will really come in handy.
Congratulations with love."
