2. The period from the first flights and the First World War and young
Lithuanian aviation institusions creation can be called aviation
prehistory of our country.
3. In 1922, Jonas Garalevičius made the first glider in Lithuanian, by
Poručik Kulvinski drafts.

4. Pilot Sergej Utočkin brought plane by train in Kaunas, 1911. He held
demonstration flights. These flights was the first in Lithuania. And
after one year, aeronautics devision, which was formed for Kaunas
fortress saving has become aviation detachment.

5. Sergej Utočkin brouht Lucki aircraft with engine constructed by his
friend, in Lithuania. The engine crankshaft was below the cylinders
have been arranged vertically.
In 1909, Lucki aicraft with Niurnberg shape engine reached 90 km/h
speed. It was maximum speed in this time. Unfortunately the plane
dropped of 30 m. height, pilot survived.

6. LUCKI UNIQUE ENGINE
The front engine whirled 2,5 m. diameter propeller 1300 aps./s. If
necessary the pilot could turn on shaft and replacement of 3 m.
diameter 800 aps.s. propeller at the rear. The engine had to reduce
landing speed.
