I have been a community whisperer for a decade. Community means bringing people together to take meaningful actions as a group and actually see each other for the individuals they are. It is amazing to be part of a coalescing community. I make and edit an indie print food magazine called Saucy: http://thesaucymag.com I made an iOS mapping app to hide real gifts for your friends called Galvanize. One of my favorite things to do is teach community design at NYU's graduate program ITP. My doctoral research looks at the life and death of online communities.
