From the questionnaire that I gave out to people based on the
UK tribes I though would be the audience for my magazine I
have collected data that shows who my audience is.
I asked 7 males and 8 females questions to help categorise
who my audience would be and if they liked my magazine idea.
More men compared to women said they liked soul and indie
styles of music; this shows that my target audience is more
males then females as they like the genre of music my
magazine will contain. Six females and only three males said
they were a creative person, I picked tribes that were
creative as my UK tribe audience, showing that my magazine
still appeals to woman. All the people I asked said they
already shopped in the kind of stores my magazine
would be sold in suggesting there are the
audience for my magazine.

After showing people my pitch idea I
gathered feed back from a questionnaire
to see if people liked my idea and what
they wanted to see in my magazine based
on my style and genre. Everybody I asked
said they would prefer to see a mid shot
on the cover of this style of magazine.
I wanted to use a mid or close up shot
of my cover. Most people said they would
like to read an review or interview in
this style of magazine, I wanted to
write an article with a small section
that reviews an artists music. Six
people said they prefer more text on a
double page spread and seven people said
they preferred more pictures, I am
hoping to please everyone by having a
large image on one page and a body of
text on the other page.
