 Responsible to write & create CNC program’s and method sheets for machine shop before
the machining operation’s getting started.
 To make sure the produced CNC program’s are proved and optimized by utilizing
programming software.
 To monitor machining times and optimize it from time to time by implementing new
machining technique’s and methods.
 To write and maintain the proven CNC program database at all time with matching the
revisions of programme’s against the engineering technical drawings.
 To maintain the jigs and fixtures design database with drawings and revision levels.
 Demonstrate a full commitment to work closely with machinists and machine shop
supervisors. Actively participate in Safety at all times.
 Complied to HSE requirements.
BHARATH ELECTRONICS LIMITED: One of the India’s foremost defence electronics company,
a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of defence. It is a multi-product, multi- technology unit
manufacturing products in the areas of Military Communication, Naval Systems, Weapon Systems,
Missile systems, Military Radars, Traffic signals, EVMetc.

 Material requirement scheduling, sourcing and procurement (Both Local and foreign).

 Integrated the function of Logistics, Inventory and warehouse management & Stores.

 Process trade enquiries in tandem with technical, production and finance teams, analyzing

purchase orders based on minimum PR to PO cycle time.
 Supplier performance monitoring.
 Making use of tools such as SAP (MM module), SRM, FLM, M S Excel etc.
Production Planning & Control (PPC)
 I worked in a role of Project Engineer where I have to execute the project (end to end) with
proper scheduling, planning, execution, control, Manage, procurement & to ensure that it
should be implemented on the shop floor at right time & right place, in such a way that it
should not cause any delay in delivery date of the project.
 Planning of requirement on receipt of sale order.
 Material Requirement Planning (MRP run), study of bill of material.
 Analysis and study of various process-
Create routing, understanding & generation of routing, study of assembly process, time
study, method study
 Creation of Production Orders, Order confirmations, Store requests, notifications, GR etc.
 Create Reservations, STPR, CMR.
 Follow-up with the various department, Regular checking of the progress of work & make
some flexible plans to tackle the problem.
 clearing shortages prior to DD of projects
 Developing of jigs & fixtures which are useful for production activities.
 Preparation of audit reports (AS & EMS) and maintenance of 5’S’ in floor area.
 Responsible for maintaining the established quality norms to ensure quality standard of the
end product.
 Knowledge of mechanical operation fabrication, casting etc.
 Process all relevant postings and transactions such as goods receipts, goods issues and
general stock transfers, monitor stock movements.
 Ensure that stock posted in the Inventory Management system is the same as the stock in
the warehouse.
 Ensure production activity in time.
 Making use of tools such as SAP (PP module), AutoCAD, MS Access, MS office, M S Excel
etc.
ACADEMIC PROJECT
Design and fabrication of Drill jig for Catch machining Lock Unit (A521-10792-200-00-
D00) of Airbus-320 in HAL.
Description
A jig may be defined as a device which holds and locates the component or a work piece and
guides one or more cutting tools. The holding of work piece and guiding of tool are such that they
are located in true position to each other. The Airbus A320 family consist of short-to medium-
range, narrow body commercial passenger jet airlines manufactured by HAL. The family can
accommodate up to 220 passengers and has a range of 3100 to 12000km. The A320 family
pioneered the use of digital fly- by- wire flight control systems, as well as side- stick controls, in
commercial aircraft built by HAL. Catch machining is an important component of airbus door
locking unit which has intricate shape and requires precision machining. Our project deals with
design and fabrication of drill jig that can hold catch machining while drilling, reaming, and boring.
Aim
The main aim of the project is reduce the time Involved in activities such as marking, handling and
also to Reduce human intervention. Since it involves manual marking, Accuracy in terms of
positoning will be less. Thereby quality is a matter of concern and thus interchangeablity cannot
be expected.
Requirements
Unigraphics, Materials for fabrication of Jig.
My Role
 I have modeled some Fixture parts using Unigraphics like clamps, clamping rod, stopper
and base plate, guiding plate and guiding bush.
 I have analyzed what materials are required for the fabrication of jig.
