So how can we turn that relationship around?
And find ways to bring out that lovin’ feeling?
Let’s look at eight ways you can inspire,
seduce,
and turn your learners on…to learning.
1. Love them first. With all your heart.
Show how much you like them. Engage them with
conversation. Like you really care.
Share stories and examples they can relate to.
Don’t just “text” them and show them words on a
screen. Let them hear from real people.
2. Make a great first impression.
Meet them at the front door in something special:
a sexy, polished LMS looks great!
Turn their heads with an LMS that makes them go
“whoa”…
Don’t play with their hearts—give them an LMS that
communicates consistently & effectively.
‘Wine & dine’ them with a portal that
looks positively scrumptious.
3. Create a sense of intrigue.
(Be a man — or woman — of mystery).
Set up a mystery and incite their curiosity.
Pique their interest with gossip.
Make it personal.
Get them laughing.
This is Matthew. “The one with the hair.”
Make ‘em beg for more.
Set up a mystery. With humor.
4. Make it a love that knows no bounds.
Don’t limit yourself to one device.
Design for them all.
Lose your fear of the scroll bar.
Let ‘em roll with your love.
It’s boundless, really.

5. Just a little nibble…
Give them lots of little nibbles.
Make each “encounter” count.
If you love them, set them free. Give them
options.
Keep the love alive with dynamic questions.
Get them thinking.
6. Go slow and woo with style.
(Channel your inner Barry White).
Take it slow and easy over time.
Think learning campaign.
Find multiple ways to share your message.
Posters are good.
7. Gifts are always nice…
Give them badges.
Challenge and reward them.
Leaderboards and roses. It’s like the
dating game.
8. And don’t ever take that love for granted…

People aren’t made from cookie cutters.
Get personal. Get your learners talking.
