Barbie and GI Joe secretly got married on a beach on Sanibel Island, Florida at sunset. Various dolls, animals, and the donkey Eeyore attended the intimate ceremony. Beach Joe officiated in Bermuda shorts as Barbie walked down a shell-lined aisle in her wedding dress. They exchanged vows as the sun set, with a small dolphin appearing to wish them well. Barbie and Joe were able to pull off their ultimate secret wedding on the beach.

2. It was seemingly another ordinary day with a beautiful sunset on Sanibel Island. However, we got the scoop that a very secret wedding was in the process of taking place, right here on this beach.

3. It was rumored that Barbie, who split with Ken in 2004, was getting married to GI Joe. Looks like the rumors were true. Something was in the works. Our sources spotted this motley looking crew of dolls and animals gathering on the beach at the West Wind Inn, on West Gulf Drive , Sanibel Island. Even Eeyore the famous Donkey was in attendance. This Eeyore came all the way from Michigan for this event.

4. Upon further investigation, we discovered Yes- it was true. Barbie and Joe were looking to pull off the Wedding of the Century……….. It was all arranged.

5. Beach Joe was officiating, in casual Island chic-- Bermuda shorts, no shirt. Barbie’s friend and family were gathered. A personal, sea- shell lined path was hand excavated to serve as an aisle for the bride.

6. All of the guests looked happy and relaxed, as it should be on Sanibel. The sun was setting, the breeze was light and Barbie looked radiant. (Designer of wedding dress unknown)Barbie’s best friend and maid of honor was giving her some last minute advice.

7. Wedding Barbie was dreamy eyed and could barely contain her excitement . Barbie wanted everything to be perfect. She even had her dog flown in, on a private jet, to be with her and Joe on their special day.

8. Joe put on his best hat, and watched patiently as the group got ready for the ceremony.He looks pleased. Every thing is perfect.

9. As the sun sets, it gets closer to ceremony time. Every one is in position. Barbie has her flowers. Beach Joe makes the announcement that the ceremony is about to begin.

10. Barbie had specifically requested readings from “Gift From the Sea” by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. How apropos!

11. And so the ceremony begins. As the delicate, colorful rays of the Sanibel sunset grace the ceremony, Joe rises to greet his bride.

12. The Maid of Honor makes her way down the path.

13. Barbie gets ready for her cue.

14. And she’s off and running, right down the shell lined sand path to her beloved….

17. Another special guest appears on the scene. A small, blue dolphin came to wish them well. Barbie loves Dolphins. Joe arranged for the dolphin to join them, and he keeps an eye out for danger as well as a hand on his bride.

18. The sun officially dips into the ocean as the Barbie and Joe Secret Ceremony wraps up- check out all the unsuspecting witnesses taking in the Beauty of Sanibel.

19. Joe can barely contain his excitement, as he grabs his bride and squeezes her tight.

20. It’s now official. Barbie and Joe pulled off the ultimate secret wedding. Too bad those people have no clue as to what just happened. That’s o.k.- It’s time to cut the cake.

21. Wedding Barbie and her main squeeze sit at the cake table, ready to indulge.

22. Ever the gentleman, Joe offers Barbie the first bite.

23. Barbie then shares the cake with her true love.

24. Barbie and Joe offer us an exclusive wedding photo. Thanks!

25. They are now ready to start their new life together. More rumors have it that Barbie has been looking at real estate in the area. They love Sanibel……………
