IThe most important thing about my Viewpoint is RESPECT for
other's views. I've learned that while our viewpoints on issues
might differ telling someone that they are wrong or their is wrong
ends any chance of continuing a dialogue. I choose no Politica
Haven't really found one that doesn't put in some way their own
political leaning spin on it. I listen and read as many different
sources as possible.
Over the years I've spent most of my community involvement
associated with at the times my children's activities. I have been
involved in community Athletic Associations, Scouting programs,
& PTA boards.
I'd like to urge for more transparency within our Town's
Government. we need to update our website so that anyone
pulling up an Agenda for the meeting can access the same
information provided to Council. We need to have Bi‐Monthly
meetings with one having emphasis on more public participation.
I would encourage them to listen to both sides and look for facts
on an issue, not get caught up in the spin.being projected.
Pineville, was working towards a Revitalization of it's Downtown 2
years ago. It stopped, we once again have to work with those
business owners or investors in creating ways to continue making
the downtown corridor of Pineville vibrant and the focal point of
the Town..
Increasing our Council meetings to 2 with an emphasis of one of
them working towards local issues is important. I would like to
see a Chamber of Commerce formed.
In honesty I believe Pineville is a good and safe place to live. Over

the years Towns and city's have been investing in various video
surveillance programs as a tool to monitor areas like Parks and
Public areas. I am in favor of this.
I believe the key to Pineville's long term financial health rests in
continuing residential housing vs. more commercial growth. My
impact is in working to keep as much of Pineville's undeveloped
area's zoned residential and looking at those neighborhoods we
can legally annex.
Like a coin, every Issue presented to a local council has two sides.
It's the ability to look at that issue from both sides, fairly and
objectively. In many cases we pass local ordinances, but because
of one or two situations of abuse the Ordinance effe
My viewpoint on this is that the collaboration between CMS and
Government needs to be directed at parents and taking more
responsibility for their child's education. Realize a college
education isn't the only key to success and re‐develop programs
that lead to more trade oriented programs.
The town of Pineville has a deep and rich History. I'd like to see
Pineville formalize a Mission Statement and Goal for the Future.
A goal that those who get elected in the many years to come will
continue to work towards.
