The document advertises holiday workshops from January 18-20 for children ages 5-12 held at a location in Chatswood, Australia. The workshops from 10am to 3pm each day aim to stimulate creativity through hands-on projects using various materials. Children will work in teams on different projects each day like toy design, mini Olympics, playdough filmmaking, and a cardboard arcade. The cost is $100 per day and spaces are limited to 6 children per day. Parents are encouraged to apply by email. The workshops are designed by Jamie Lee, a teacherpreneur, to teach children how to think through experiential learning rather than what to think.

2. Passion
Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a
follower.
Because of the advance in technology, I see this generation
having extraordinary talents and interest in innovation more
than any other generation in the history.
Many of my students tell me that they “Google” and “YouTube”
things for fun and love to act on their curiosity.
This workshop is highly experiential and is designed to
stimulate and inhibit creativity in our children. Each project will
be done with a different team, so our children get a chance to
work with a wide variety of participants.

Teacherpreneur of Kids at SWiTCH
4. Purpose
Our Manifesto:
Don’t teach your students what to think, but how to think.
Let them fall,
so that they learn the skills of perseverance and resilience.
Get rid of homework and exams.
The test in real life won’t be how much they know, but how well they can collaborate
with
others and solve real-world problems.
Learning is simple. Draw your lesson materials from students’
interests, passion and experiences.
Dare them teach because younot you’re a great teacher.
Don’t
to lead, think follow.
Teach because you want to
learn.
Your time with them is finite. In years to come, they may forget about what you’ve
taught them, but they’ll always remember how you’ve made them
feel.
5. Sneak Peak into our Workshops
Toy and Game Design
Instead of using technology, we want them to
create their own toys out of renewable materials.
7. Sneak Peak into our Workshops
Playdough Film Making
Using playdough to nurture their creativity and
spark their imaginations. At the same time,
teaching them to learn from failures and
persevere.
9. We only get one chance to prepare our kids for a future that none of us
can possibly predict. What are we going to do with that chance?
