2. Background about me and Radiator Software
● Researcher a thesis and dissertation away from Doctor of Technology at
Tampere University of Technology (been like that many many years)
● Was there as a researcher in the beginning of international and Finnish
eduroam
● Founded in 2003 with colleagues a company (then Arch Red Oy, now
Radiator Software) to do Wi-Fi authentication and roaming solutions for
enterprises and large organisations (e.g. eduroam for CSC)
● Since then been working with cooperative networks, but also with
cooperative labs and testbeds
● Proposed by Tampere University for KyLÄ steering group
