in the world. To day I want to
introduce about Indian
Buddhism regarding with past
and present and give some
explanation compare with
other religions how is going
on India religion nowadays
and why Hindu people convert
to Buddhism more and more

• The history of India begins with evidence of
human activity . There was saying as long as
75,000 years ago.

5. 1.1. Early history of Buddhism
• There are two parts we can divided-
• (A) -History of Buddhism must begin with the life
of the historical Buddha ( 483 BCE), who lived and
taught in Nepal and India 25.
• (B)- The next chapter of Buddhist history begins
with the Buddha's disciples. The Buddha had
many lay followers who made history.

• After Buddha passed way , the followed
established first to six councils and the first
three councils organized in India.

• During 3rd century BC, King Asoka began to
propagate Buddhism around the Asia.
