10. $$$$$ Business Opportunity: County appraiser valuations County appraisals will be mailed out in the next few months There can be a 2-3 year lag time before the county appraiser “averages” catch up to the reality of the marketplace If you have seen reductions in average sales price in your market, the county appraiser probably won’t register it this year. So…when the new appraisals come out, contact the folks who bought from you in the last few years and offer to do a CMA for them to see if the value assigned matches the “true market”. It makes them feel taken care of by you…and just in case they were thinking about selling and “buying up”...and who is on their doorstep???
