Ramesh Seshan.
They will try their best to suit their clients'

2006.
-As a interior designer lecturer in
LIMKOKWING University until year 2008.
-Co-founder of custom Design Group
Sdn Bhd
-He start his own design film ,
Seshan Design Sdn.Bhd after
that.
-He has working experience for
taking the project from
Hong Kong, Philippines and
Japan.
-One of his project

which is a major 2
and a half storey
renovation job

Ramesh seshan, who run
Seshan Design the design film,
had an interview with us. He is
kindly take his time to share the
idea in coordinate with his working
team.
How do you coordinate with
your working team. Who is the
most important?
Everyone is important! This design film is
just a small office. So, everyone should
know and does everything Eventually they
will break into few team but basically
everyone will need to do everything. They
should able to run his own project. The main
objective is to learn to be independent. The
staff is the core in a company not the
facilities or the building. Everyone need to
be train. Some of them face the challenge
and come back to the office. So, the training
need to go all the way round. The only
difference is just the experience.
Any tips to work well with
working team?
The way I run the office is just very simple.
I also face the problem before. So, I know
how to run and what should I do. I will
emphasize the work like facilities and other
stuff. The way I treat everyone is the same. I
encouraging the design stuff, no matter how
small. You will actually see thing that you
yourself are basically true. Many of junior
like to design. Design part is the major part
but the hardest part is not design, is the
thing after design. Final product is important.
I will just let them do what they want to do.
Let them involve in every part of work can
let them start earlier than others. Basically
they will get benefit from it.

“Integrity is the most important to being a success
architect.”
Mr. Ramesh indicate that Integrity is very important for an architect. Every architect
must have sense of integrity. It is the basic thing for an architect.
Besides, he encourage the young architect must be stick to real in anyway. Don’t set
out! You must have a conviction to the thing that you do. You believe in something
and you really work toward it.
People who startup young mostly have an big ambition. However, they will give up
after they knew that they can’t do it or fail once. Then, This will not make them be
successful. No sense of integrity is the biggest problem.

“Say no to crime!”
people who have no sense of integrity will create
a lot of problem such as crime. So, we must stand
up to the crime.
The reason why the crime will goes to someone
else is because they can always find another
architect who is willing to make that. They know it
was wrong and it could be doesn’t work. But yet,
they still do it.
Say no to crime. Stick to it! Even any other
architect do that. You won’t get paid by developer.
Developer can do anything what they want
because if a architect said no to them. There are
always have someone out there willing to do it.
The effect are not immediately but will stay a long
time.
When startup a new project. Integrity and
commitment is require in every aspect of work.
So, the client will believe on you. You should
make sure that the expectation of the client will be
same with the final product of the work.
