國旗：呈長方形，長與寬之比為１８：１１。旗地為白
色。稍偏左側的十字形藍色寬條將旗面分為四個白色長
方形。芬蘭以“千湖之國”著稱，西南臨波羅的海，旗上
的藍色象徵湖泊，河流和海洋；另一說象徵藍天。芬蘭
有三分之一的領土在北極圈內，氣候寒冷，旗上的白色
象徵白雪覆蓋著的國土。旗面上的十字表示芬蘭歷史上
與北歐其他國家的密切關係。該國旗是１８６０年前後
根據芬蘭詩人托查裏斯·托佩利烏斯的建議製作的。
國徽： 為紅色盾徽。盾面上為一隻頭戴王冠的金色獅
子，前爪握著一把劍，後爪踩著一把彎刀。九朵白色的
玫瑰花點綴在獅子周圍。獅子象徵芬蘭人民的勇敢和力
量，九朵玫瑰花代表芬蘭歷史上的九個省。

關於 Google 的技術
 Google 獨創的搜尋技術，及簡潔的網頁，讓 Google 遙遙領先第一
代的搜尋引擎。Google 除了使用關鍵字或交叉搜尋技術外，還有先
進的 PageRank(tm) 網頁排行專利技術，可以保證將最重要的網頁排
在查詢結果的最前面。
 PageRank 以客觀的分析來決定網頁的重要性，並依據五億種方程式
及超過 20 億個字詞來計算。PageRank 使用網頁的連結架構如同組
織工具一樣。簡單來說，Google 說明網頁 A 連結至網頁 B 時，則視
為網頁 A 投給網頁 B 一票。Google 是藉由收到的票數來評估網頁的
重要性。Google 也會分析參予投票的網頁。
 Google 這種複雜、自動的搜尋方法可避免人為感情因素。與其它的
搜尋引擎不同的是，Google 已將系統架構完善，因此沒有人可以透
過購買的方式，來取得較高的搜尋結果順序或在商業動機上更改搜尋
的結果。Google 透過誠實並且客觀的搜尋方法，能容易地找到優質
的網站。
