2. Paper club – Material
The material I used is normal drawing/sketching
paper.
The characteristics of this paper:
a. soft
b. flexible/easily in changing in shape.
C. thin/smaller
These characteristics might shows that it is not
suitable to build something cause it shows weak.
----> Change the weakness to be advantage.
3. Paper cube – Material
------> Change the weakness to be advantage.
By designing a equilateral triangle construction.
a. Cut the sketching paper into 60mm x 10mm
paper strip.
b. joining three paper strips into a equilateral
triangle.
c. build the cube by joining the equilateral
triangles.
4. Paper club – Material
---->Changes of the Characteristics
By joining the weak paper strips into triangle
design, its created a strong bond between the
strips, thus strengthen the weak paper and gives
the new characteristics.
Characteristics of the new design:
-elastic
-strong
-reduce impact force
The thin, flexible, and soft characteristics after
bonding, brings to the cube a elastic and strong
characteristics.
5. Naming of Paper cube
TRIGO-CROWN
Design base on a Crown, only using equilateral
triangle to form the shape.
6. Design Concept of Paper cube
Joining the triangle shape to form a unique shape
and spectacular space inside.
Using repetition method, balance, symmetric line,
texture etc..
