Mark Landry of the WHO Regional Office of the Western Pacific gave a presentation at the Global Summit on CRVS in Bangkok, Thailand from April 18-19, 2013. He discussed electronic and mobile civil registration and vital statistics (e/mCRVS) solutions and planning decisions for defining frameworks and objectives. Landry also described the HMN MoVE-IT program which develops standards and tools to improve data collection, transfer, analysis and dissemination for vital events monitoring. Finally, he mentioned an upcoming study from the University of Oslo on a systematic review of e/mCRVS interventions and approaches.
