2. Music Video
The music video goes well with the digipack and magazine
advert as it has frequent shots relating to both tasks. It is
heavily seaside themed and has the feel of a happy, playful
singer, which is what is represented in the advert and
digipack. It has a lot of shots that represent thinking and
holds a feel of mystery to it, which is linked with the
digipack and advert as it makes you wonder what she is
thinking and looking at.
3. Digipack
The digipack, again, is heavily seaside themed, with
pictures of her stood next to deckchairs and walking on the
sand. There is also the spinning arcade game as the disk tray
to heavily enforce the idea of the seaside and games.
The feel of mystery is added with the footprints in the sand,
which makes you wonder where she is going and what she
is looking at on the cover. The inside front cover of her
walking along the wall is symbolic of an adventure and
links well with the music video as this has a feel of being on
holiday.
4. Advert
The advert links nicely to the music video and digipack as it
is simple yet catchy and clearly meant to be by the seaside.
The deckchairs are symbolic of being away on holiday and
this links to the music video nicely. The digipack front
cover is the same image as the advert, as this will help the
album stick in the audience’s head and they will link the
two. If they couldn’t remember the name of the album, the
picture will help them link.
