3. Why I chose to visit China
I chose to visit China as it is one of the most populated
countries in the world. China’s culture is also completely
different to that of Ireland. As China is such a vast
country there is so much you can do. While visiting the
country I would like to see the two sides of China, both
Urban and Rural. I would love to visit cities such as Hong
Kong and Beijing to see the old Olympic stadiums and
visit some interesting museums. I would also like to
explore the rural side of China, this will include a visit to
“The Great Wall of China”. I intend not to carry out any
work while in china as I wold like to spend the to months
travelling to different parts of the country and staying in
hostels. While in China I would also like to the
opportunity to try new foods. It would be a very unique
experience for me.

whick is a pear-shaped
plucked lute.

the most colourful and
diverse arrangements.
Chinese colthing is
varied by the region and
time.
At this time there are
very few Chinese people
who still were the
traditional Chinese
colourful outfit.
7. The Chinese calendar
The Chinese calendar is a lunisolar calendar
incorporating elements of both the lunar and solar
calendar.
The Chinese calendar is not only used by china but
by other Asian countries also.
Each month of the calendar follows one cycle of the
moon. The Chinese calendar is also used to
determain the phases of the moon.
Each year there is a different animal for the year.
The Chinese new year begins on the 10th of February.

1. The political arm- the Communist Party of
China are the only party within the PRC
maintaining a unitary government and
centralizing the state
2. The administrative arm - The State Council.
3. The enforcement arm -

and temples of China. You will also come across
many of the Olympic stadiums used in the 2008
Olympic games.

he is acting in. He also preforms all of
