The document describes the LINCS strategy for creating study cards. The strategy involves 5 steps: 1) List the parts, 2) Identify a reminding word, 3) Note a linking story, 4) Create a linking picture, 5) Self-test. The study cards are divided into four sections - the word to learn is written on the top half of one side, the definition on the top of the other side, the reminding word on the bottom half of the first side, and the linking story and picture on the bottom half of the second side. The strategy is provided by the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning.
