RESUMO




Esta pesquisa tem a função de estudo turístico tendo como base o bairro do Brás e
seus comerciantes do Oriente Médio, que fazem do local o seu ganha pão, ser uma
referência turística para o projeto.

A proposta foi levantar dados para que possamos identificar oportunidades e
potencias turísticas para resgatar uma identidade que se perdeu ao longo dos anos
pela forte indústria do comércio, um ponto de partida para a tematização do bairro e
também a valorização do local, mudar o visual sujo e perigoso para um lugar onde
possa ter uma movimentação de turístas para os fins de semana.

A combinação gastronômica e o turismo de compras são as principaís atrações do
bairro para atrair turistas brasileiros e estrangeiros.
