Our faculty lead all colleges of education nationally, both public and private, in research expenditures. This is not the amount of money our faculty garner in federally and state funded research grants but the amount we expend from those grants annually in conducting research impacting the way we educate our children and heal minds and bodies.
The University of Texas Development Board established the Endowed Presidential Scholarship program in 1973 to provide merit-based scholarship support to outstanding UT Austin students. Endowed Presidential Fellowships were added to the program in 1997 to recognize and support exceptional graduate students. In all, more than 1,400 students receive Endowed Presidential Scholarships and Fellowships each year.EPS minimum award is $2500, 3.25 minimum GPA, and leadership roles and financial need should be a consideration. These students are the best of the best.
