JetBlue Airways is a low-cost American airline founded in 1999. It is headquartered in New York City and operates out of John F. Kennedy International Airport. JetBlue focuses on point-to-point flights and offers low fares, leather seats with lots of legroom, and in-flight entertainment screens in every seat. While JetBlue has experienced success with excellent customer service and competitive advantages, its weaknesses include limited international routes and strong competition from larger airlines.

7. *TARGET MARKET.
*JetBlue's target market was people
who would otherwise find themselves
driving or taking a coach. And yet,
the passenger list is still pretty
varied and not as low-rent as you
might anticipate. Partly this is due to
the fact that JetBlue specifically
courts a higher class of passengers.
