• Created and facilitated themed tours for Summer camp groups ranging in ages from
five to sixteen years–old that included activities in the galleries that were designed to
help campers connect and interact with the museum’s collection in artistic and
unique ways
• Taught a joint lecture and studio class that focused on “Tutankhamun’s Funeral”
for students ranging in ages eleven to fourteen
• Class included a discussion about the burial processes and traditions of Ancient
Egyptians while exploring the permanent collection and a special exhibition on
Tutankhamun’s funeral
• Class was one in a series of four in conjunction with the “Art Explore Plus!” program
• Assisted Teen Educator in Art Explore Plus! class preparation, which included
developing special projects and creating prototypes based on each class theme,
researching collection and creating Powerpoint presentations showcasing relevant
works from the permanent collection, as well as preparing the classroom before
each session and ensuring all needed materials were available
• Collaborated with Education Staff to host special Teen event inspired by the
special exhibition, “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity”
• Designed flyers and cards for “Teen Festival of Fashion” used on MET Teen
Facebook page, created six unique perfume cards to accompany perfumist’s lecture,
researched and created all Powerpoint presentations for the event, as well as wrote
summary of the event, which appeared in the monthly internet publication,
“Now at the MET”
• Assisted “Art and Film: A Hands-on Digital Film Making Workshop”, where
teens accessed the permanent collection to create unique documentaries while
instructed by New York Film Academy professors and students
