3. What is MSDP?
MSDP (Mobile e-governance Services Delivery
Platform) provides an integrated platform for
delivery of government services to citizen over
mobile devices using SMS, USSD, MMS, Voice,
LBS, WAP, or mobile applications installed on
the mobile phones.
4. Unique Features of MSDP
Integrated with NSDG / SSDG
Provides multiple mobile based channels for delivery
of the government services (eg. SMS, USSD, IVRS,
m-apps)
Once integrated to any one channel provides
automatic integration for the other available channels
Free of cost integration
Push SMS is free (initially for one year) for early
adopting departments
Hosts / manage your own m-Apps on the DIT mobile
application store

App store we have deployed 3 live (2 Goa, 1
Maharashtra) applications and 32 generic
applications.

11. USSD Status
USSD Ready with 3 live Services (2 Goa & 1
Maharashtra)
– The above services are running on temporary short
code, only for testing purpose.
– After we get our own short code, all the services
will move to our short code.

IVRS is ready with 3 live Services.
– Currently the IVRS system is running on 022-26209367.This
number can be changed once we get approval for MGOV
IVRS number.
– Currently the IVRS system supports 30 simultaneous calls
