THERE ARE MANY PUBLICATIONS WHICH WOULD SAY THAT YOU NEED TO LEARN POWERFUL HABITS OF LIKEABLE PEOPLE AND COPY THEM. I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH IT. BECAUSE LIKEABLE PEOPLE ARE USUALLY FAKE. IF YOU COPY THEIR HABITS YOUR WOULD BECOME FAKE TOO. INSTEAD OF WASTING YOUR TIME TO BECOME FAKE, I WOULD RECOMMEND TO SPEND TIME TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF BETTER AND POLISH YOUR OWN PERSONALITY. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. EVEN A PERFECT COPY IS JUST A COPY. AS WE KNOW, ANY COPY IS CHEAP.

If we compare it to renovation, imagine if you would
renovate your bathroom, put gold-plated toilet seat and
bathtub covered by Swarovski crystals, but the rest of
your house would be in terrible condition.
I also find it appropriate to compare this type to a
prostitute. The difference is that unlike the
representatives of the oldest profession, this category of
people does not take money from people whom they try
to please. Same as if they would work for food. Even less
than that as they don't get even food.
I wonder, what would they do if the perception of
"likeable" would change tomorrow? Would they be able
to convert immediately or inability to sustain their
"likeability" would lead to their isolation in the mental
house?
Since they spend plenty of energy to maintain their
likeable image, I also would like to know what the result
would be if they could channel their energy to improve
their personality? Would we have more interesting and
genuinely talented people? Would the world be a better
place? I guess it would.
That is why we should not waste our days by trying to
please the others for no reason. Of course, we shall
continue to care about others, but only to a reasonable

extent. Moreover, we can only express our genuine care
about others if we are honest with ourselves before
anything else. If we are authentic in what we say and do,
people will notice it. And those who don't - well, you can't
be good just for everybody.
We all shall learn how to attend to our needs and unlock
our talents. It is not selfish, but a rather reasonable
necessity. Because just like everybody else we have only
one life and each day is more valuable than a tonne of
gold.
If we look at our life from this perspective, it would be
clear that we shall not waste our precious time on
something which is immaterial. Do not be afraid to be
yourself. Instead, you shall consider it as an honour.
