Amost people think they are marketing but they are spamming and turning people off. Which is what I did when I first started out. Probably couldn’t have bought a friend on SM. If you have deadbeat leads blame your marketing and not them. This was a aha moment. Marketing the right way can definitely turn your business around.

Make sure that it is a pic of you and not your company, dog or your children or even a quote. People do business with people and they want to know who they are doing business with. Cover phot should be a life style pic. A good place to create images in like canva. Which is free. Fill out as much info as possible. Have you contact info, email and phone # if comfortable. Do not put your company website. If you have a fan page link it to your personal profile. I want to get you where you are not running a infomercial. WE are all guilty. I was awful. When I found out how to do it the right way I was actually embarrassed. I was spamming everyone… As far as your newsfeed you want to entertain inspire and educate. Look at your profile and ask yourself if you would follow you. It is very important. If you feel like you are being spammy and pitchy you are probably. So lets dive in..

Make sure you are branding yourself and not your company. Your company does not need branding. If you want to stand out in the market place you do. If you are constantly out there and tieing your face to a company what will happen if that company goes out of business. Don’t want to think about that happening, but it can happen. You may decide you want to switch companies and you have all this branding out there with your name tied to it. Running info mercial you just look like another sales person and spammer. Google and reacho ut to someone else who is more creative in their marketing instead of you. Force people to reach out to you. Give you the power and the upper hand.
