2. Our first ramp was built for a consumer who had breathing
problems which required to use a wheelchair. Her porch
stairs prevented her from going outside. Her desire was to be
able to go and smell her roses once again. On November
19th 2009, we made that happen.

3. Our second ramp came after a call from D&S Ambulance
Services, they had difficulty taking a consumer to receive
dialyses, having nearly dropped him multiple times. After a
phone call from the consumer, a veteran, we were able to build
his ramp.

4. As of May 17, 2010, D&S Ambulance Services has been able to
get him out of his house and to the hospital safely.

5. We received a call from a woman who said that she could not
get out her door to walk her dog. She uses a wheelchair and
had stairs coming off her porch. She rents the home and the
landlord would be in burden to build a ramp. On February 27,
2012 her ramp was built. Now with the use of her new ramp,
she is able to take her dog for walks.

6. Sometimes a ramp is not needed to assist our consumers in
coming safely out of their homes. A consumer contacted us to
see if it would be possible to have a safe set of stairs built. She
was able to safely leave her home on March 14, 2012 when her
low-rise stairs were completed.

7. Due to a property line dispute, the stairs from the previous
build had to be moved.

8. They were moved to the back of the trailer, they still look
great and she is able to safely get out of her back door.

9. We had an elderly consumer call us to see if we could help her to
get out of her house with freedom.

10. After receiving permission from landlord, we built the ramp. As
of May 26, 2011, she has had the freedom to leave her home.

11. A consumer, who had recently lost his wife, called to see if a
ramp could be built onto the trailer his family had recently
bought so he could be closer to them. He uses a wheelchair,
so a ramp was desperately needed. As of August 2, 2012, he
is able to move freely in and out of his new home.

12. A consumer has had nerve pain and arthritis. He can hardly walk
nor climb down high stairs. We assisted him in building low-rise
stairs. Since July 13, 2012, he has had an easier time accessing
his home.

13. After falling and breaking both of her legs, a consumer would
not be released from the nursing home unless she had a
ramp built to access her home. We were able to assist her,
and as of November 28, 2012, she is out of the nursing home
and loves her new ramp.

14. A mother called and said her 2-year-old daughter needs to get
out weekly to go to the doctor’s. She uses a wheelchair and is
hard to get her outside. She loves to go outside. As of August 8,
2012, a ramp was built and she is able to enjoy being outside.

15. We received a call from an elderly man who was having
difficulty helping his wife outside. As of October 10, 2012, he
has been able to safely help his wife.

16. A handrail was built for a consumer that had nerve and balance
issues to help prevent him from falling. Prior to his handrail, he
had to use his back stairs which had a handrail. It was loose and
the stairs were steep. He now is able to safely access his home
through the front entrance.

17. After only being able to leave her home with the assistance of
her family, we were able to build handrails for this consumer.
She now enjoys the freedom and can now walk down her
stairs without assistance.

18. A consumer called to tell me that she was having a difficult time
getting in and out of her home and asked if there was anything I
could do to assist her. We assisted them in applying for USDA
assistance and now she is able to come and go safely form her
home.

19. This consumer uses a walker but could not get down her
steps. Her door was catching the steps, was difficult to open,
and she did not feel safe leaving, so she stayed at home. Her
new low-rise steps were built and now she can safely leave
her home.
