2. A hard decision
This woman has decided to leave her
boyfriend, it’s a hard decision to her
because she actually loves him. She just
wrote a letter to him telling the reasons
she is taking that decision.
She realized that relationship didn’t work
because her boyfriend live far away and
they can barely meet once a week. He
probably doesn’t understand her, let
alone to accept that idea and he will
surely look for a chance to fix their
relationship.

3. About the song “Out of Reach”
I watched that movie several years ago and it’s pretty good. Well, I
just listened the song and I think that’s a pessimist one. I couldn’t
understand the whole meaning of the lyrics, but in general it talks
about a girl who has got her heart broken. Another aspect which I
think it’s a sad song, it’s for the slow rhythm, I love rock music and I
know when a song is slow it’s surely a sad one.

4. The problem according to the song
The song talks about a girl who just got her heart broken, then
she thinks she won’t ever be loved and feels like shit about it.
Truth be told, I understand what she feels, that’s a hard
situation and we can’t overcome it easily, it’s the same with
every tough situation.

5. The best solution for the case 1
In the first case, I think the best option she can take is to request his
boyfriend to introduce her to his family, they are a couple of people that
surely loves each other, so they should know their other family.

6. For the second situation, from my
view point the woman should tell
her mother about moving to the
USA, talk to her about the
benefits of being there, that her
husband’s new job will offer them
a better life, their future depends
on it, and that way she will keep
looking after both her and her
children, it’s a good deal for all
them.
One possible solution for the case 2

7. Are you good at making decisions or not? If you
find it hard to make a decision, what do you
usually do?
I’m not good at that because I’m always
thinking of the possible consequences,
whether that’s wrong or right, making
decisions is a hard task to me because I
get confused easily.
I usually tend to analyze the context of
the situation, then I reflect about it and
take a stance on it, after that I make a
decision according to my own
perspective and being sure that’s the
best for both me and the rest.

8. When I was 16 I finished the secondary
school, then I didn’t know what to do in my
life, we had no money to pay for my studies
and we were so worried about it. One day
while I was taking some days off from work,
I received a phone call from a friend of mine,
he told me about a job in Bogota. I couldn’t
decide what to say to him, let alone what to
say to my parents.
I took some days to think about it but I
finally decided say yes and leave my home. I
accepted that job but I didn’t really want it.
Once there I wasn’t sure about my decision
but it was too late to go back.
