Jeremy Thake, SharePoint MVP and AvePoint VP of Global Product Innovation, will share his opinion on strategies for your organization around the use of social as well as best practices for encouraging participation and driving adoption. Jeremy has been a very active voice in the SharePoint community since 2006, heavily utilizing social media platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Yammer. Jeremy was also the person responsible at AvePoint for getting Social off the ground for the global organization, heavily utilizing SharePoint 2013 for shaping how AvePoint enables social collaboration. In this presentation, Jeremy will introduce the concepts of social collaboration and its core benefits for the enterprise. He will also highlight new and enhanced social features in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and demonstrate examples of it in use in the industry alongside Yammer.
