Algebra II Chapter 2 Functions, Equations, and Graphs

   Essential Understanding: There are sets of
    functions called families, in which each
    function is a transformation of a special
    function called the parent.

   Objectives:
   Students will be able to analyze
    transformations of functions
   Functions
   F-IF.7. Graph functions expressed
    symbolically and show key features of the
    graph, by hand in simple cases and using
    technology for more complicated cases.★
   b. Graph square root, cube root, and
    piecewise-defined functions, including step
    functions and absolute value functions.
