1. How to build your class website MLNG 110 – Contemporary Issues: Social Justice and Intercultural Communication

2. In your SLU email, click the “Sites” button

3. To start a new website, click the “Create new site” button

4. Type the name of your site here. For this class site, just use your name Then click the “Create site” button.

5. Congratulations! You have built your website! To edit your website, click on the “Edit page” button.

6. This will be the ‘Front Page’ of your website. Enter some basic information about yourself here.

7. Add a picture to your front page by clicking “Insert” and “Image”

8. You can format your picture here: Size (large, medium, small) and placement (Left, Right, Center). When you are finished adding text and pictures to your front page click the “Save” button

9. To add another page to your website click the “Create page” button. Your Front Page is complete!

10. You will now add a page for your Service Learning Blog. First, choose “Announcements” Next, type the name of your new webpage, “Service Blog” here. Next, choose “Put your page under Home ” Finally, click the “Create Page” button here.

11. Your Service Blog is complete!

12. You can access your blog from your home page by clicking here on the menu.
