This is a fun and very interactive session I do with real estate groups on why knowing the real estate data in your marketplace is important. I also share some fun and creative ways to share the data using today's technology.
Participants will be asked to find two to three people they do not know, and form groups of three to four. Each person will introduce themselves to the group, and then share five (5) interesting points about their office, or geographical location they are from. Participants will be encouraged to share the average sales price from their area, and any other interesting statistics they might know about their office or location.After a few minutes of introductions. a short debrief will take place asking for volunteers to share some of the interesting facts that they discovered from the introductions in their group. It is important for everyone to remain with their small group during the debrief.

A short presentation will be given with the next few slides about why the Presentation of the Data is important.
Groups will construct a visual postcard explaining some form of current data to present through a direct mail piece to their Sphere of Influence or the marketplace in general. Each group will share their idea with the entire group when finished. 10 – 15 minutes for creation. Note – Need large flip chart or poster paper, colored markets for entire group.
I will lead the group through some new creative ways they might consider presenting the data with today’s technology.

Briefly explain using a green screen and real estate data from their marketplace.
Now that the attendees will be thinking about gather and harvesting meaningful data, how can they use it to “win more business?” These final slides will offer some new creative ways to use the data and their new presentation ideas for sharing by getting consumers to “opt-in” for receiving a monthly newsletter, quarterly report, etc.

This exercise is to wrap-up the presentation by reminding participants that sometimes we can just see numbers or data, but if we analyze and think about the numbers (data) in our office, marketplace, and more, we can use this information to win more business!
