The prefix *pre* means before. A prefix is
word part that comes before the root.
A prefix can change the meaning of the
root for example ( normal ) with prefix it
will be ( abnormal )
4. Root
The main part of a world is the root.
Many roots are complete words.
Adding a prefix or suffix to a root will
change its meaning.
Some example of roots ( sound, life,
small….).
5. Suffixes
A suffix is a word part added to the end of
a root.
A suffix can change the meaning of a
word for example ( soft ) with suffix it will
be ( softly ).
