2. We will explain three parts of the word :
1 – root : the root is the most important part of a word
Ex : pleasant
2 – prefix : is a part added before the root
Ex : un , dis
3 – suffix : is a part added after the root
Ex : ly , ful
Introduction : Words are often made of different parts .
If you know the meaning of some of the parts , you can better understand the meaning of
the whole word .

3. Example :
1 – prefix + root :
un + pleasant = unpleasant
2 – root +suffix :
pleasant + ly = pleasantly
