3. Introduction We are going to take you on a journey to the shaft goldfields. You will learn from us what it will take to be a shaft miner. So back we’re going to 1865, Ballarat in Victoria where it all takes place. So sit back and watch while we show you the shaft miners world.

4. Where it all takes Place Shaft mining took place in Ballarat, Australia. At about the time of 1865. This is when it all takes place. This is where and when shaft mining took place.

5. What you Need All Shaft Miners need Permits. If you don’t have a permit and you do shaft mining you will be beaten up. Many people know about this and always buy a Permit. To do Shaft Mining you will need tools which are more heavier and more expensive than others tools used for other mines. This tools you need are: Bucket, Wind Glass, Cradle, and a pick. Hey!! Wait!! Before you go and do shaft mining you need to buy supplies otherwise you will die or get really, really sick. Don’t forget you need to buy blankets and tents.

6. What it’s like Shaft mining is when you get gold from underground. It is much better to shaft mine. It is hard work shaft mining but it certainly pays of when you add up all your luck. It will be hot so make sure you bought a lot of supplies from the Supply Store.
