●   Both Ears: AU

risk of ear infections by
allowing air to pass
through and helping
fluid drain to the throat.
Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat
●   Eye-Ear-Nose-
    Throat : EENT
Bone Conduction
●   Bone Conduction (BC) is the conduction of
    sound through the bones of the skull.
●   Low-pitched sounds vibrate the entire skull;
    high-pitched sounds vibrate bones in the skull
    individually. These vibration stimulate the
    sensory cells involved in perceiving sound.
Otitis Media
●   Otitis Media (OM) is the second most common
    childhood disease characterized by any
    inflammation of the middle ear.
●   OM is classified into many variants on the
    basis of etiology, duration, symptomatology,
    and physical findings.
Emmetropia
●   Emmetropia (EM) he normal condition of
    perfect vision.
●   An object is in sharp focus with the eyes lens
    in a proper, relaxed state.
Exotropia
●   Exotropia (XT) refers
    to eyes that are
    turned outward
●   This condition can be
    both congenital and
    acquired.
Extraocular Movement
●   Extraocular Movement (EOM) refers to
    movement of the eyes by the six ocular
    muscles
●   Most common symptom includes double
    vision.
Visual Acuity
●   Visual Activity (VA) refers
    to the clearness or
    sharpness of vision based
    on what the quality of
    proper vision should be.
●   To measure visual activity,
    the letter chart is very
    commonly used.
