DROGADDICTION
It is a disease that originates in the brain of a large number of humans, the disease
is characterized by chronic or long-term, progressive and relapse.
It is the misuse of any drug for other purposes and not initial are prescribed when
there is a prescription.
It's a psychological dependence, whose individual feels an urgent need to take
drugs or otherwise a crash when not ingested emotional and physical dependence
produced by the terrible withdrawal symptoms when not ingest.
The drug causes physical, psychological, social and financial.
Drug addiction is called the psychic and sometimes physical state caused by the
interaction between a living organism and a drug. Characterized by behavioral and
other responses that always include an irresistible impulse to take the drug on a
continuous or periodic basis in order to experience its psychic effects and
sometimes to avoid the discomfort of its absence.
Speaking of a drug dependency refers to compulsive use of this but you have to
differentiate physical and psychological dependence. The first part presents
Abstinence Syndrome to stop using and in the second the syndrome does not
arise.
It should be understood that the addict will remain an addict while living, ie, that the
individual is rehabilitated to live without the drug and, thereafter, it will be an addict
in remission, not using the drug, but for remain in that state of abstinence or
remission can not lower our guard.
What are drugs?
Are those substances whose consumption can lead to dependence, stimulation or
central nervous system depression, or that result in a disruption in the function of
judgment, behavior or mood of the person.
Any substance capable of altering the body and psychic action is exerted on
behavior, perception and consciousness. Drug dependence is excessive
consumption of all persistent toxic substance newspaper.
The term drug seen from a strictly scientific point of view is the active ingredient,
raw material. In that sense can be compared formally drugs in pharmacology and
in medicine with a drug, ie drugs and drug can be used synonymously. Drugs are a

Kinds of drugs according to their effects
Narcotics
The word narcotic is a Greek word meaning "thing capable of numb and sedate".

on the psyche of the individual, can be divided into:
Opium, opiates and synthetic substitutes.
Neuroleptics or major tranquilizers.
Anxiolytics or minor tranquilizers.
Sleeping pills or barbiturates.
Great narcotics or general anesthetics.
It is a drug with different origins and compositions, which have in common their
effect on the body, although this may be manifested in different manner and
degree.
