- I want to begin by emphasizing the worth and power of simplicity. We all recognize the McDondald ’s logo. It’s been made famous all over the world. McDonald’s has sold more hamburgers than any restaurant chain in the history of the world. Why is this? Is it because McDonald’s produces the best tasting hamburgers, or other menu items, in the world? I think not. In fact, McDonald’s probably ranks quite low on the list of restaurants that we’d prefer to eat at. What has made McDonald ’s such a successful restaurant chain across the globe is the simplicity in their business model. Their menu is simple, their branding is simple, the way they run their business is simple. That is, every McDonald’s franchise worldwide follows the same model for operating their restaurant. They prepare the food the same way, package the food the same way, take orders the same way, and the employees even dress the same way.
- Because of this, it does not take a genius or an expert business executive to be a successful franchise owner of a McDonald ’s restaurant. Their business model is so simple that almost anyone, with any professional background, could involve themselves in a McDonald’s franchise and the model would allow them to operate the restaurant successfully. This principle of simplicity is what has led Morinda to redefine the way we approach our business. And it has led us to this new, three-phase approach to building and maintaining a thriving Morinda business.
- IPCs can begin to really grow in this phase. Even though we have shown earning Platinum in the Explode phase, we want to let people know they can being to really grow and maybe even hit Jade and Platinum as they ’re still expanding. This does not have to be exact science…just principles to follow. If you’re more comfortable not have an “X” in the Platinum column in this graphic, that’s OK.
