1. Memory Deligth
Don here with an incredible story. It just might bring a tear to your eye.
It's from Mary Lou, a woman who struggles daily with severe chronic pain.
But has learned to cast all her anxieties onto the Lord.
I'll let her tell you in her own words...
--------------------------------------
I am disabled. I can walk, but not very far and not very fast.
Therefore, my car is all-important to me. Without it, I'd be mostly house-bound.
That's why I was so upset on a long weekend Saturday morning.
My car was acting up. I started to stress about it. What if repairs cost a lot?
I live on a disability pension and have no money to spare. What if the car
had to stay at the garage for a long time?
How would I get along without it? Or, even worse, what if it couldn't be
fixed and I had to get a new one? I couldn't afford that. What would I do if
I didn't have a car? There were no garages open on the holiday weekend.
I had to wait three days before finding out what the problem was. I was so
anxiety-ridden that I wasn't sure how I was going to survive until Tuesday.
Then I thought of Paul's instructions to the Philippians: "Do not
Be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard
your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" Phil. 4: 6 -7, NIV.
That was what I needed to do. I needed to pray and ask God to
take my worry in exchange for his peace. So I did.
But I was still anxious. I continued to stew about the car and my lack of
money and the fear that Iwouldn't be able to get the vehicle fixed. My
stomach roiled. I couldn't sleep that night.
I couldn't think about anything except the problem.
I prayed again for Christ's peace to fill me. But it didn't.
2. Finally, on Sunday evening, exhausted from worry, I hollered
angrily at God. "I asked you to take my anxiety. Why haven't
you done it?"
Then I heard God's voice, not audibly, but in my spirit, saying gently and
lovingly, "Mary Lou, I can't take something from you if you will not let go of
it."
I laughed out loud. It was true. I had said I was handing my worry over to
him. While I had spoken the words, I had still hung on to my anxiety. I
thought of another verse about worry. "Cast all your anxietyon him because
he cares for you" 1 Peter 5:7. And it hit me that casting involved completely
letting go of something.
I'm sorry, Lord," I said. "I gladly release the problem and all my emotions
about it to you."
As soon as I spoke those words, I felt his peace pour through me. I was
finally able to relax, and enjoy Monday. Every time I thought about the car,
I just smiled and thought, "God will take care of it and me, so why be
afraid?"
On Tuesday morning I took the car to the garage. It turned out that the
problem was simple and easy to fix. And it cost me 35 dollars – I could
afford that.

Wow! What a marvellous story.
It's humbling to think that something as simple as letting go to God can
dramatically change a person's anger into calm.
I gotta be honest … I know how difficult that can be.
It's easy to say Take it to God … but not so easy to
do it, right?
I learned how to let go, and you can too … how to cast
your burdens on Him.
With God's mercy and help, my wife Dawn and I did learn.
It became the foundation of our new program:
Take it to God: How to Stop Worrying and Start Living.
3. If you’re struggling to “let go and let God”, why don’t you take a
look? And for a limited time, I have something special for you...
Here's the full story.
In Him, Don and Dawn
P.S. There's no reason why worry can be a thing of the past.
I stopped worrying and got the surprise of my life! Find out what… .
Here's the full story.
John Piper summed up our problem well with his statement, 'The
weakness of our hunger for God is not because He is unsavoury, but
because we "keep ourselves stuffed with other things"'
Isn't that true?
We all tend to get caught up in the busyness of this world. As if
we're going to live on this earth forever.
And do you know what's scary about it?
We're too busy that we don't even realize it. Until something painful
happens that wakes us up from our spiritual slumber.
My brethren, there's nothing wrong in desiring a better life for
yourself and your family.
Just don't let your job, family, or even your ministry to hinder the
growth of your faith in God.
Read, memorize, and meditate scriptures regularly.

P.S. Life is too short to waste on things that won't matter in
eternity. Instead, set your minds on things that are above, not on
things that are on earth.
Go now and meditate His words.
Hey it's Don and Dawn here again.
In a remote village, a traveling evangelist stopped by for some
lunch.
He entered a small yet quaint eatery where they served hot food.
While waiting for his order to arrive, he placed his stuff on a chair
and a Bible on the table.
The waiter brought his food and noticed the book on the table.
He asked what it was and the traveling evangelistgladly shared to
him the gospel.
Before he can even finish his food, he led this waiter to Christ and
gave him the Bible.
He finished his lunch and left.
The waiter took his new Bible with a renewed sense of purpose. He
shared what he read to a friend who also gave his life to God.
Then, both of them shared it to a family who surrendered their life
to Christ.
5. In a few weeks, the whole town was in a buzz because of their new
found faith in God.
All of this with just one Bible.
John 5:24 says, "I assure you, those who listen to my message and
believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be
condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death
into life."
Reading the Bible is not a religious chore but a life changing event.
For those who meditated on God’s word, it turned their life around
completely. So much so that they wanted to share it to their
friends.
Experience the power of God’s word right now.
Discover how these words that were written centuries ago still
changes lives in the present.
Open the Bible. Read it. Meditate on every verse. Memorize it even.
Let it change your life as countless people have.
Begin here now.
In Him,
Don and Dawn
P.S. Is it possible for you, for the next 10 minutes to just close your
eyes and meditate the scripture above, John 5:24?
If so, I encourage you to do it and experience God in different
level.
6. And if you want to memorize more Bible verses... Go here now.
Today, we would like to share to you this one thing that derails
Christians from growing in faith.
This thing is very deceiving and in most cases taken lightly. That's
why it's powerful and destructive.
What we're talking about is... worry.
You see, lots of people are worried about their bills, thinning hair,
health, kids, wrinkles in their faces and all other things.
It's an unconscious habit that people are doing that's taking the
limelight from God and focusing it on their problems.
Listen up.
In Matthew 6:25-27 says that we shouldn't be anxious about our life
because "worrying" won't add a single hour in our life.
In fact, it's a sin since we're seeing our problem as if it's bigger than
our God.
So how do break the habit of worrying?
Really, there several ways to break it but we'll show you a better
and long-term solution.
Think about this.
Worrying is actually an act of meditation. It is focusing your mind
7. on things that may go wrong.
Oddly enough, we also worry about the things that have already
happened. And we cannot change the past.
Here's a better solution.
Instead of meditating on the negative, why not meditate on God's
Words and promises to you?
If bills and expenses are piling up, why not meditate this truth...
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in
glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19
Simply close your eyes and recite this verse meaningfully three
times to experience its power.
No doubt, scripture memorization and meditation is probably
the fastest and easiest way to break the worry habit.
