Facebook Page vs Profile Page is for business and marketing Profile is for personal use Facebook’s terms state that profiles are not to be used for “commercial gain” How do you know if you have a Page or a Profile? Are your connections called “Friends” or “Likes”?
Help! I have a profile! If you want to market your business on Facebook, you’ll need to get switched over to a Page You can convert your personal profile into a business Page – Facebook’s Help Center has instructions on how to do this All your Friends are automatically converted to “Likes” Your friends won’t know you’ve switched, they’ll still get your updates same as before Set up a new personal profile and only invite the close friends you want on there – everyone else is now on your new Page!
