3. Cabildo It was the main building in the city during the colony since 1580 until 1821. The building has suffered a lot of changes but it is still the historical reference where the country gave the first step to reach the independence in 1816. 6. La Boca These neighborhood grew near the old port of Buenos Aires in the middle of the XIX century. Here settled a lot of immigrants most of them Italians, who gave a particular look to this place. The photograph show us Caminito, which is a pedestrian street which works like an outdoor musseum. 10. Puerto Madero It is located near Plaza de Mayo where the old port of Buenos Aires used to work. The four docks where renewed and nowadays it is one of the most luxurious neighborhood in Buenos Aires. 18. La Lucila La Lucila is a town in Buenos Aires, Argentina. La Lucila is the smallest neighborhood in Vicente Lopez, its surface is of 1,60 km2. It has plenty of lime trees (“tilo” called in spanish) throughout the streets. There is a small shopping mall along three blocks, besides it is the branch Mitre that goes from Retiro to Tigre.
