This was a presentation about how to market poetry books and activities beyond National Poetry Month. The talk was given as part of the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) By the Glass program, where members come together to discuss and exchange ideas to strengthen the viability and visibility of independent publishing. The event was held at the CLMP (clmp.org) office in New York City.

● No barriers to entry.
● Easy learning curve.
● Takes time to build a following.
● But asset can be used immediately, and widely.
● Excellent for author care.

● It's a network of popular podcasts.
● Each podcast has its own platform and following.
● But they work together as a collective to share
audience and resources.
● This helps with show quality and listener
numbers, but also ad revenue and fundraising
efforts.
